Finally: A film about a talking dog that goes to college set in 2009.

I’ll admit it. My favorite movies are late night buddy comedies. The kind that you can sit back and watch for the 12th time and still laugh.  My top ten list is dotted with classics like Bill & Ted’s Excellent Adventure, Wayne's World,  Dude Where’s My Car, and Encino Man. But I often wonder… Why did Hollywood stop making movies like this?

Somewhere along the way, studio execs decided to trade in fun for formulas, churning out overly serious, message-driven films. Abandoning an entire genre that holds a timeless place in my heart.

And that's when I realized what had to be done. Something that goes against every algorithm and Hollywood analytic department. I gotta bring them back. Best buds. Big laughs. Goofy premises. Physical comedy. All of it. That’s become my mission.

So I wrote a script for a film that does just that and it’s called Muddy Goes to College.
